As you can probably tell from the list of trips on the left, my last trip by bike was already over 3 years ago. My last trip by myself, as in riding solo, was even longer ago.

So it was with excitement and nervousness that I set off on a 2 night trip in the Leningradsky region.

I got a train to a small village an hour outside of Saint Petersburg, with the intention of riding 100km up to Vyborg. I hadn't ridden a bike that kind of distance for a few years, so by the time I arrived I was absolutely exhausted.

Then rode another 100km down the coast, wild camped in a forest by the road, and headed for the train station on the cold, wet morning of day 3.
